Below are the technical specifications, fire-resistance classifications and recommended applications of our fire exit doors and fire-rated shaft access doors.
Applications: Low-rise buildings and buildings with a low fire risk and low fire load.
Technical Specifications:
Applications: High-rise buildings, residential complexes, hotels and similar buildings with a high fire risk or fire load.
Technical Specifications:
E (Integrity): Indicates that the fire exit door maintains its integrity against fire for 90 minutes.
I2 (Thermal Insulation): Indicates that the fire exit door provides thermal insulation against fire for 90 minutes.
Applications: High-rise buildings, residential complexes, hotels, shopping centres, paint production facilities, chemical production facilities and similar buildings with a medium-to-high fire risk or fire load.
Technical Specifications:
E (Integrity): Indicates that the fire exit door maintains its integrity against fire for 120 minutes.
I2 (Thermal Insulation): Indicates that the fire exit door provides thermal insulation against fire for 120 minutes.
Applications: These doors are designed for hospitals and main exit routes in high-rise buildings. The dimensions and configuration of a certified fire door must correspond to the intended installation. For example, a fire exit door certified at a width of 90 cm cannot automatically be considered suitable for an opening requiring a 120 cm wide door.
Technical Specifications:
E (Integrity): Indicates that the fire exit door maintains its integrity against fire for 120 minutes.
I2 (Thermal Insulation): Indicates that the fire exit door provides thermal insulation against fire for 60 minutes.
Applications: Suitable for main building exits, car park exits, primary factory evacuation routes and main evacuation exits in shopping centres. A fire-resistance certificate issued for a single-leaf door does not automatically apply to a double-leaf fire door. The selected double-leaf configuration must be covered by the relevant test evidence and certification.
Technical Specifications:
E (Integrity): Indicates that the fire exit door maintains its integrity against fire for 90 minutes.
I2 (Thermal Insulation): Indicates that the fire exit door provides thermal insulation against fire for 60 minutes.
Fire-rated shaft access doors are used to help control the spread of fire through electrical and mechanical service shafts between floors. They can be combined with fire-stopping systems between storeys to help compartmentalise shaft openings. Suitable solutions can also be produced for applications requiring decorative timber cladding.
Technical Specifications:
Custom metal doors are manufactured from steel box sections and sheet metal according to project specifications. Available options include ventilation grilles, insect mesh, weather hoods and surface-mounted locks. Typical applications include transformer rooms, electrical rooms and other technical service areas.
Stainless steel doors are manufactured from satin-finished 304-grade stainless steel. The 60 mm thick door leaf consists of 0.8 mm + 0.8 mm stainless steel sheets. Its internal core contains rock wool insulation between two gypsum boards and omega-shaped steel reinforcement profiles. The frame is manufactured from cold-rolled steel with 1 mm stainless steel cladding. Hot-dip galvanized hinges are used.
Section 4, Article 15: Test certificates and/or inspection and test reports issued by organisations that are members of an agreement to which the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) is a party, or by organisations that have a mutual recognition agreement with TSE, may be accepted by the relevant certification unit.
(3) Inspection and test reports and certificates submitted by the applicant may be accepted by the relevant certification unit if they have been issued by laboratories or conformity assessment bodies accredited by TÜRKAK, by accredited organisations recognised by TÜRKAK, or by laboratories and conformity assessment bodies whose competence has been accepted by TSE.
